"Faisal al-Mikdad and Mohammed Reza Baqiri stressed their pride at the victory over Israel by the Lebanese national resistance, and reiterated their support for the struggle of the Palestinian people and the national and territorial unity of Iraq," it said. The two met during a visit to Damascus by Baqiri. "The two parties underlined the importance of continued cooperation, talks and coordination between the two friendly countries," SANA added.
