Deadly attack on Western Galilee: Rocket fired by Hizbullah Wednesday afternoon hits northern community, killing one person. Three other people suffer from shock. Some 150 rockets land across region throughout day Deadly barrage in Western Galilee: A rocket struck Kibbutz Saar, north of Nahariya; a man riding a bicycle in the kibbutz's path was struck by shrapnel and instantly killed. Some of the long-range rockets fired at Israel Wednesday afternoon landed across the Green Line, in the West Bank. The rockets fell near the Palestinian village of Pqua, in the Jenin area.

Ynet has learned that parts of the rockets fell off while the rockets were in transit, but caused no injuries or damage

After two days of relative quiet, in which only a handful of mortars hit the north, Hizbullah renewed heavy rocket attacks Wednesday, with over 70 rockets hitting communities in northern Israel

In Safed two people were moderately wounded and a third person was lightly wounded. The wounded were transferred to Ziv Hospital. Four more people were lightly wounded by shrapnel in Akko, and another person was wounded in Kiryat Shmona. Property damages were incurred in Tiberias, Rosh Pina, Akko and Kiryat Shmona.
