In an effort to improve its range of services to subscribers, AOL announced that it plans to offer users 100MB of online storage, accessable from any web-enabled device. Called "My Storage", it sits alongside AOL's existing paid backup service, which copies important PC files to online storage automatically.

AOL have been reworking their services for some time now, having just launched a new web interface and offering users 100MB of e-mail storage with a web front end, as well as numerous other small features aimed to drawing consumers away from wires-only broadband services into a "closed network".

Although a launch date has not yet been set, AOL claim to have it live by the end of 2005.
